DeenMaxx ("we", "our", or "the app") is operated by Sierra Hotel Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the DeenMaxx mobile application.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide and improve the app:

• Email Address — Used for account authentication via one-time passcode (OTP) or third-party sign-in (Apple, Google). We do not use your email for marketing unless you opt in.
• Display Name — The name you provide during onboarding, used to personalize your experience within the app.
• User ID — A unique identifier assigned to your account for functionality purposes.
• Approximate Location — Used solely to calculate accurate prayer times based on your general area. We do not track or store precise GPS coordinates.
• Usage Data — Information about how you interact with the app (deeds logged, Quran pages tracked, streaks, badges earned). This data powers your personal progress and is tied to your account.
• Purchase History — Subscription and purchase status managed through RevenueCat to unlock Pro features. We do not have access to your payment card details.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Payment card numbers or bank details
• Precise GPS location
• Health or fitness data
• Contacts or address book
• Photos, videos, or audio
• Browsing or search history
• Device advertising identifiers

How We Use Your Information

All data collected is used exclusively for app functionality:

• Authenticating your account
• Displaying your personal progress (hasanat, streaks, badges, levels)
• Calculating prayer times based on approximate location
• Managing subscription status
• Enabling social features (Circle groups) with data you choose to share

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your data is never used for tracking across other apps or websites.

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Supabase — Database and authentication (data stored securely with encryption)
• RevenueCat — Subscription management (processes purchase status only)
• Expo / EAS — App build and update delivery

Data Security

All data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL). Your data is stored in secure, access-controlled databases. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). Upon deletion, all personal data associated with your account is permanently removed from our systems.

Children's Privacy

DeenMaxx is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

The Vault

The Vault feature allows you to store private duas and gratitude notes. This content is stored securely and is visible only to you. We do not access, read, or analyze Vault content.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent for data processing

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
